Kate “Ladybug” Leigh

An investigative journalist and co-founder of the Vigilantes who transformed Arthur Price’s murder investigation into a full-scale campaign against the Icarus Foundation’s corruption and hidden crimes. Fiercely protective and secretly in love with Kate Leigh, Marcus struggles to keep his fragile coalition from collapsing into violence as the reckoning he orchestrated spirals beyond his control.

Gloria “Dotty Darling” Norfolk 
A grieving supermarket cashier and former church mother whose daughter Angie died under suspicious circumstances. Gloria joined the Vigilantes not to seek justice, but to destroy the people she believes murdered her child and buried the truth beneath fame and glamour.​

Tommy “Crackerjack” Parker 
An idealistic law student who joined the Vigilantes after losing his mother to a scandal orchestrated and buried by some of the wealthiest and most untouchable figures within the Icarus Foundation’s orbit. Tommy still clings to the belief that justice should matter, even as grief and obsession slowly pull him toward increasingly dangerous methods.​

Vivienne “Bluebell” Bates 
A former legal prodigy turned waitress whose life collapsed after a powerful member of Britain’s elite destroyed her career, reputation and sense of self, leaving her institutionalised and silenced by the very system she once believed in. Haunted and emotionally scarred, Vivienne joined the Vigilantes to confront the untouchable figures who ruined her life and to prove she is no longer the frightened woman they tried to erase.

Hank “Tom Tom” Lewis 
A retired Metropolitan Police detective who devoted his life to the law until corruption within Britain’s elite destroyed his career and led to the death of his partner, Carl Stinton. Deeply disillusioned, Hank joined the Vigilantes to expose the untouchable figures shielded by wealth and power, becoming the group’s calm tactical backbone as their mission edges closer to violence.

Sally “Pebbles” Brown 
A widowed homemaker and mother of two whose quiet suburban life collapsed after her husband Howard Brown was murdered for becoming trapped between two ruthless and immensely powerful men locked in a dangerous feud. Frightened and overwhelmed by grief, Sally joined the Vigilantes hoping to prevent others from suffering the same fate, even as fear and guilt slowly push her toward betraying the group to save them from themselves.​

David “Captain Birdseye” Roberts (played by one of the organisers)
A former Cambridge climate scientist whose groundbreaking research into ecological collapse brought him into conflict with the Icarus Foundation, leaving him mentally fractured which destroyed his career and shattered his sense of self. David is now determined to expose the system that tried to erase him completely.

Samuel “Casper” Anderson (played by our photographer)
A war photographer and former correspondent for The Guardian whose brutal coverage of Vietnam left him disillusioned and unable to reconnect with ordinary life. Recruited by Kate Leigh and Marcus Davis, Samuel now infiltrates the Icarus Foundation’s surrealist ball as an official photographer, determined to capture undeniable proof of the corruption and violence hidden beneath Britain’s most untouchable elite.
